In 2016 bezocht volgens het NIVEL 78% van de Nederlanders de huisarts in 2016. Dit komt neer op ongeveer 326.000 patiënten per jaar. De verwachting is dat dit geneesmiddel eerst ingezet zal worden bij patiënten met therapieresistente VVC. Voor deze groep zou het een therapeutische optie kunnen bieden. Het aantal patiënten per jaar wordt ingeschat op 100-200.
