Additional remarks De minister van VWS heeft besloten de vergoeding van het extramurale geneesmiddel Lojuxta (stofnaam: lomitapide) voor de behandeling van volwassen patiënten met homozygote familiaire hypercholesterolemie (HoFH) te continueren onder voorwaarde van een financieel arrangement. Het financieel arrangement wordt voortgezet vanaf 1 januari 2025 tot 1 januari 2029.

Additional remarks Homozygote FH is een zeldzame aandoening. Er zijn ongeveer 50 patiënten in Nederland. Niet alle patiënten komen in aanmerking voor deze behandeling gezien zij uit zullen komen met andere behandelingen. Geschat aantal in Nederland is 10 patiënten.
